a rich experience among the maranao people

my visit to a rural high school in masiu, lanao del sur was a very enriching experience. here is a team of educators with good academic backgrounds. they chose to return to their village to help educate the youth there. the principal and her husband are even spending their own money to improve their facilities. what a sacrifice! what a positive example of visionary leadership to the next generation of maranao people! alhamdulillah! (praise god!)

hiking for the cause of peace

is it worth it to hike for two hours just to speak to a young man who chose a non-violent means to attain the justice he's seeking for the bangsamoro people? you bet! my life has been enriched by this young man. his story ought to be known all over the world!

heroes of peace in the remote parts of maguindanao

hiking through the remote areas of maguindanao to listen to the stories of farming families who chose to live in peace brings me lots of joy and hope. i want to publish the stories of these heroes of peace so that the world would know that most of the bangsamoro people are hardworking and peace-loving people.
